Description of Service

Full Analysis (Parent and Spinoff) - Always produced before the Event

We take a Deep-Value/Private Equity style approach to our analysis.

Structured into three core segments:

Fundamentals: Detailed analysis of Parent and Spinoff entity.

Technicals: Valuations of both entities pre and post split. Detailing our DCF, LBO and comparative peer valuations, including relative and external forces, while focusing on identified index moves, highlighting any forced sellers and buyers.

Insiders: Unique to us, each research report will cover all recent activity regarding insider, i.e. directors’ dealings, focusing on the new management employee contracts and incentive plans to grow the company, including their options and what they are priced at.

Spinoff Updates

The way we organize the research, is to track and analyze Spinoffs from announcement to Spinoff, through to two quarters after (covering the Spinoff entity). We feel as a globally recognized specialist in the space, it’s here we add the most value. Thus, we fully cover the Spinoff for all major news and results, adjusting our valutaions and releasing updated forecasts if necessary.

Published every month. The calendar will track and monitor in chronological order up and coming spinoffs detailing information on parent company, spinoff entity, associated tickers, share ratios, important future dates, investor relation contacts, telephone numbers and email addresses.

Email Alerts

As soon there is an announced spinoff, The Spinoff Report will send out an email detailing the announcement and any information that is relevant including dates, share ratios etc. In addition, periodic emails containing any relevant information to past, current or future spinoffs will be sent out. These might include discussions with management, directors’ dealing noticed and or unusual activity in the underlying.

Weekly News Digest

Published and sent out at the end of every week by email, a news digest utilizing all The Spinoff Report’s research and discover methods. It will highlight news from potential spinoffs; to other catalyst events affecting current companies being monitored and new ones. This has proven to be a valuable resource to aid in the sourcing of ‘new’ ideas as well as keeping up with up to the minute news flow within current names.
